How did you get recruited to join Delta Chi/Why did you join Delta Chi? I joined Delta Chi first and foremost because what the fraternity stood for and its outstanding brothers.  When I joined Delta Chi was just a colony on campus and I enjoyed the leadership opportunities the fraternity allowed me in shaping the direction the group would follow for many years to come.

Reason(s) for serving on the B.O.R.: Delta Chi is basically like an extended family made up of Brothers who are willing to lend you a helping hand whenever needed.  I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Delta Chi groups in the Midwest Region.  I see this point in our fraternity’s existence as a time for Delta Chi to return to our basic principles and only by working together can we put the Chapters and Colonies above everything else. It is time for One Team, One Fraternity, One Delta Chi.

Favorite Delta Chi memories: Initiation, road trips, long conversations about what is important in life with fellow brothers, the continued relationships beyond college with Brothers from all the U.S. and Canada.

Who’s your Delta Chi hero? Why? George Obear. An amazing brother who was always there for his chapter and the international fraternity.  It is my goals to be even one-tenth as involved as he throughout my lifetime.  George was an amazing example of the Brotherhood of a Lifetime.
